OCEAN ISLE BEACH JET SKI RIDING AREA
Your Wave Runner rental allows for a "free ride"; meaning you are not forced to follow a guide. Once you recieve safety and operational instruction, you are free to travel the designated riding area at your own free will. However, if you travel outside of boundaries, you are subject forfeiture of the remainder of your rental with no refund.
RIDING AREA:
A 7 mile stretch of Intracoastal Waterway between the Sunset Beach Bridge and the Ocean Isle Beach public park & pier (large American flag flown from public pier on right hand side and Bricklanding Golf Course clubhouse with green roof directly across the waterway on left hand side). The Intracoastal Waterway width varies depending on the tide, but at minimum you have 300 feet of safe width. That is a total of 7 miles long at a mimimum of 300 feet wide to enjoy the thrill of riding the Wave Runner. Travelling outside of boundaries almost always leads to getting stuck in the back marshes or creeks where you will endure ravenous bugs, razor sharp Oyster shells and a long wait for return of the tide + an additional recovery fee IF we can even get to you. In other words, you are given plenty of freedom in the designated riding area, so please don't stray. See below map for a visual.
